bar hopped from Cape Coral to Naples there is no doubt you have probably joined in his sing-a-long's. Sean has a great energy that he pours into his music at his shows. He tours South Florida playing shows in hotels, beach-side and dining restaurants, bars, weddings, and songwriter venues. Blending his performance and talent to fit the atmosphere.
And of that talent, he taught himself to play guitar and wrote his first song that first year. The next few he has won songwriting competitions that have landed him main stage spotlights and an invitation to South Florida's Island Hopper Songwriter Festival. He has penned a mix of songs ranging from the contemporary country song "Anything with you" to the beach-style "Polynesian time" and "Days like these". To the deeper side of rock in "Still Waiting" and will almost always provoke your tear ducts with his ballad "Better than me".
He plans on recording his first EP later this year. But until then, next time your are about town, look for him and request your favorite song.
" It's been a long time since I got up and left that day. I've been around the country a few times by car and by plane. And I've got my shoes from walking down that road. My backpack on full of love notes."
This is a lyric in Sean's first published song "Long Road". It is a sound that echos his upbringing, and is an understatement for the 30 year old who traversed the states as a young man. Working different jobs, and learning different skills, only to bring him back around and finally find music.
"Growing up music was always around. My mother was always dancing in the house to R&B or Country. My father, the long haired ex-heavy metal-er, incessantly playing air drums. I am very grateful for that environment. "
There is a quiet soulfulness we can attribute from those influences in Sean's music and performances. Supporting his foot-tapping country sound.
